The intersection is now open again, so disregard the below. Of course, it’s always a good opportunity to remember our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world! 🙂

*** ARRIVAL AND PARKING FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 11 2013 ***

Never let it be said that life isn’t an adventure from time to time! As many of you might be aware, the City of Tyler is doing some major road repair at the intersection of Front & Broadway, which (as of Saturday evening) is having a direct impact on accessibility to our church building. As of this writing, the intersection is completely closed, and traffic is being diverted from all directions. Southbound Broadway is even closed from Elm on down.

However…it IS indeed possible to access the church building. Just be ready to embark on a bit of an adventure in arriving!

The alternate route to arrive at our building is to take College Ave, and cut across on University Pl, from which point you can head north on Broadway and turn in at the building.

For those unfamiliar with those side-streets, College Ave is where Caldwell Auditorium is located, and University Pl is the little side road that runs by the Boys Club building (which is an old church). The Google map of the area is available by scrolling to the bottom of the screen here: http://calvarytyler.com/#/contact-us

All of our normal parking looks to be available along Broadway in front of our building, the Austin Bank parking lot, and the Expert Tire parking lot.

The corner city parking lot is not available this weekend, and is completely closed off.

It’s not ideal, but thankfully it’s not impossible! Praise God for the availability we still have to meet together as a church family. Let me encourage you to not think of the inconvenience, but rather use it as an opportunity to consider our brothers and sisters around the world who have to go to much greater lengths to be able to worship at all. So perhaps leave a few minutes earlier tomorrow, but join us at 10AM as we worship the Lord Jesus & open His word together!

God bless you tonight – I look forward to seeing you in the morning!

Because of Christ,
Tim Burns
Sr. Pastor, Calvary Chapel Tyler
